This 1900 photo was taken by the
United States Light House ____agency ___..
The photo was printed from the glass negative. Handwriting in the black border
indicates the photo was taken in July, 1900.
The label says:
"No 1. Sand Island Light Station, Ala.
Keeper's Station S.E.
"A." Keeper's Dwelling, "B." Fog Bell Tower.
"C." Plank Walk from
Dwelling to Tower...
"D." Boat House..... "E." Dauphin Island"
(Editdor's note: The "A" "B" etc., on the print have been added
by someone in later years. The letters were there when I scanned the print)
