Front, right, is the team Captain, having just fired the
field artillery piece, with the firing lanyard, or his
trigger-line, in his right hand. The team member behind
the Captain, is holding a "tamper" and a "sponge."
After firing the field piece, the "sponge" is used to clean and
dipped into a bucket of water, to cool the piece so the next load
of black power will not ignite prematurely.
